SOLUTIONS TO THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS THAT AMAZON SELLERS FACE!

Hey everyone, I hope you all will be doing good!
GENERALLY SPEAKING, WHATEVER BUSINESS YOU DO ON EARTH, THERE IS SOME SORT OF RISKS INVOLVED IN IT AND WHAT PROVES YOU TO BE A GOOD BUSINESSMAN, IS HOW YOU TACKLE THOSE RISKS. EITHER YOU UTILISE YOUR EXPERTISE OR HIRE A PROFESSIONAL, THE THING IS THAT YOU NEED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS, MINIMISE THE LOSS AND FETCH REVENUE/PROFITS.

I'll be discussing the most common types of risks/problems involved in selling on Amazon which can result in a failed launch or monetary losses and I'll specify ways to overcome them.
Confused about market/business model selection: Selecting a market or business model totally depends on your investment. For a profitable private label business, you need at least $10,000 and for a profitable wholesale business, you need at least $5000.

Launching your product without any research: This is a common error that many sellers do. They don't do proper in-depth research of the market, product and niche. They just launch whatever they feel like and once they have invested their time, money and energy - they realise that their product isn't even selling and just costing them an FBA storage fee. You need to do proper research through various tools and check if your product even has a potential market so you can sell it.

Investing all your money at once: This is another common error that sellers do. The ones who face high losses are the ones who have invested high amounts of money in their products and soon realise that their product won't perform well. Even if you are satisfied with the stats of your product, you shouldn't right away invest all your money in it. The best practice is to launch with just a few units i.e. 50-100 units and see how it is performing. If it shows promising stats, only then order supplies in bulk quantity.

Spending on PPC but not getting impressions: For this type of error, it is suggested to go through your campaigns and revamp them. A possible issue here is that you are not targeting a relevant audience so you need to edit your Keywords relevancy sheet and target those keywords for marketing. You might be ranked on irrelevant keywords.

Spending on PPC, getting impressions but no sales: For this type of issue, you just need to optimise your listing since people do land on your product page but don't like the content you offer.
Suppressed listing/Stranded inventory: This is caused when you do not fulfil Amazon's criteria for selling products. Amazon generally provides a reason for suppressed listing or stranded inventory. The most common one is that you have missed out on providing any information. You may hire someone or provide documents on your own to fulfil Amazon's requirements so your listing and inventory can be declared clear.

Negative Reviews: This is the most painful problem. Negative reviews can hit your listings very badly. Your sales majorly depend on this. Unfortunately, if you ever receive bad reviews, try to solve them as soon as possible. Open a case with Amazon, do a refund, be apologetic to the buyer and request him/her to remove it. Do anything to get that review removed.
No buy box rotation: If your buy box isn't being rotated among sellers then, unfortunately, you have selected the wrong product and you need to liquidate it elsewhere.

Buy box rotating but you're not getting sales: If the buy box is kind of evenly rotating among other buyers but you're not getting sales so you need to improve your BSR and lower your price. Try to get reviews on your listing too.

Listing hijacked: This is caused when your brand is not registered on Amazon. Anyone can do me-too with your listing. You should have your brand registered or be a part of the Amazon IP accelerator so you can open a case with Amazon and it will remove the hijacker from your listing.

Hope this gave you a perspective.
